Building Rapport & Credibility: An Intro to Status Work 2006 Create the World DayWe often have no idea how people see us, why we can't seem to gain rapport with one co-worker or why we have to fight for authority with others. It's easy to look "over there" and see how some one else should change if they want to build rapport or credibility with us, but it's not so easy when we turn the mirror on ourselves. In this playful and gentle introductory session we will discover, experiment with and finally, play with the powerful tools of "status work". Status work, developed by Keith Johnstone, was first employed as a method for teaching improvisational theater actors how to create realistic scenes. In recent years, his work has been co-opted by leading-edge trainers and coaches to help people in business gain an understanding of their impact on one another. This powerful work will change the way you experience all of your interactions. Using a dynamic algorithm called the I AM Model, you will be introduced to the nuts and bolts of Intention and learn how and where to find solutions to some of life?s most complex challenges.Caroline Weizer

Healthy Aging Cycle 2006 Create the World DayThe human body miraculously reproduces more than 300 billion cells every day ??" that??Ts tremendous potential for regeneration. From birth to around age 30, those new cells grow more resistant to disease and more robust than the cells they replace. At about age 30, the body begins a transformation. The production of new cells becomes less efficient and the cell quality gradually deteriorates until about age 45, at which point the deterioration process begins to accelerate. A sequence of deterioration exists in the aging process, beginning with cosmetic signs such as reduction in skin elasticity and hair loss, progressing to delayed recovery from injuries, lowered resistance to illness, and finally the life-sustaining functions of your major organs. Understanding this process is key.Kyra Pauli

Most of us live in the old paradigm of performance, which has us believing that great presentation is about wearing the right clothes, doing the right things and saying the right things, in the right way ? and then if we do all that, our audiences will judge us positively. Even for those of us who have learned to do all that and have been performing all of our lives, we still may look at the truly great performers we have seen and think, ?How do they do that?? or ?I could never do that. I could never be that good.? The truth is that you can! I enjoy introducing people of all ages to a new experience of presentation/performing that is truly fun and inspiring. In this session, I hope to share with you the basic principles behind laying out and recording a continuous DJ mix.Charlie Thompson
